So many companies advertise with statements such as
"No Fix, No Fee". So for example, You call on there services and the technician arrives. He determines that your PC requires a component thats costs say £100 for a successful repair? You at that moment cannot afford that ammount or would like time to get another opinion etc. No fix has been made, SO does that mean the company will not charge you?
"No Call Out Charge". Again You call out the Technician, he diagnoses your problem and you decide you do not want him to fix the problem. No Charge? How can this work?
Quite simply it can't work. "No such thing as a free lunch"
HitF1 have an upfront charging structure.
We charge an initial fee of £35.00 that covers our callout including the first hour of work.
If we can fix your problem within the first hour which is mostly the case, we only make our standard charge.
If the problem proves to be with components that need replacing, we will give you a price there and then and its your choice as to whether you have us carry out the repair for you.
Some items need to be taken away to be repaired, again we will give you a fixed price for the repair and generally have the PC back to you within 48 Hours.
Please also bare in mind that there a lot of people advertising computer repair services that have little if any accreditation or experience and are no more than enthusiastic "Hobbyists".
